Pavilion Availability and Pleasant Ridge Park Renovations
Please be advised of the following updates regarding park pavilion use and park availability:
Now Closed: Pleasant Ridge Park is now closed to the public to allow for extensive renovations and safety improvements. During this period, pavilions at Pleasant Ridge will not be available for rental.
Alternative Locations: Pavilion rentals will continue to be available from April–October at Moody Park and Old Lincoln Trail Park, with room rentals available at City Hall and The REC as well.
Future Reopening: Pleasant Ridge Park will reopen after the closure in 2026 with newly updated facilities, renovated pavilions, and more!
We encourage residents to monitor our website and Facebook pages for further announcements. More specific closure and reopen dates will be shared as they are confirmed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can pavilions be reserved year round?
No. Pavilions can be reserved from April through October. Outside of those months, they are first come first serve.
Can I bring a bounce house to my party in the park?
No. Bounce houses and other inflatables are not allowed in any Fairview Heights Parks.
Am I responsible for cleaning the pavilion?
Yes. We ask that you remove all decorations, trash, and other items after using a pavilion?
Can I have a DJ at a park pavilion?
No. We do not allow DJs or live bands at any events held in a Fairview Heights Park.
Can I tour the community room or recreation room before making my reservation?
Yes. Virtual tours of both spaces are available below. To schedule an in-person tour, please contact our PR office to schedule.
Can I cancel my reservation?
Yes. Reservations can be cancled up to a week before your event.
