Culinary Nutrition Introduction
Kim is a registered dietician nutritionist, born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She is a 28 year U.S. Air Force veteran, mother of two and grandmother. She experienced first-hand the impacts of Type 2 diabetes, hypertensions, and heart disease can have on a family. Her goal in life is to make nutrition, health and wellness education available to individuals of all ages.
Kim will speak about her experience has a nutritionist an explain why it is important to eat a healthy balanced diet. During the presentation Kim will explain simple steps on how you can begin to make healthier choices in life and share a recipe on how to make a healthy meal.
